We sensed sensed that our current education system sorely lacks contact with our environment. Therefore, we plan to fill this gap through this conference. We try to provide a place for students to delve deeper into the realm of nature conservation, as well as to get actively involved in developing action plans with real-life applicability.

I am Andrei Cojocaru, General Manager for RYUCN’s first edition, and a senior at the International Computer High School of Bucharest. Too many times have I felt that it was too late for me to do something, to make a change. Therefore, right now when there is still time I feel like I need to act. Our conference will impact our world’s situation. Although it might be late for thinking about prevention, it is enough to try and preserve what we can. For this our new generation needs to act together, and be conscious of what’s happening with our environment.

I believe that the good or bad quality of our life is depending on the quality of our natural environment. Our need for food, water, shelter, and other things depend on the environment around us. There must be a balance. Human society plays a vital role in degrading the natural environment which badly affects the lives on this planet. All human actions in this modern world directly impact our ecosystem. In my view, it is everyone’s responsibility to do our bit in the world.
And through this conference we want to offer an impactful experience by putting you in a simulation where we will be discussing important issues and trying to find proper solution. I hope you will have an amazing time and will learn essential things about the world we live in.
